JANSPORT® REVEALS ITS WILD SIDE WITH THREE REVERSIBLE PACKS IN ITS
FALL 2010 LIMITED EDITION SMASHUPS COLLECTION
Introducing three new packs that can be worn two ways: inside or out
San Leandro, Calif., (June 1, 2010) - JanSport, the original outdoor gear Brand that equips people globally with quality backpacks, travel gear and collegiate apparel, today unveiled its new Fall 2010 limited edition Reversible Smashups collection, a line of three new reversible packs that go from mild to wild in three easy steps.
The newest Smashups collection lets you discover your wild side with three one-of-a-kind packs including the Velvet, Tardy and I-ROC. Pack details include straight-cut, padded shoulder straps with detachable swivel hooks for reversing, one large main compartment along with a front utility pocket, and an internal stash pocket to keep essentials handy. Each pack also comes with a collectible, special edition novelty pin for added flare.
Unleash the beast, zebra beast that is. This pack's mild side is covered in a snow white textured zebra pattern, while its wild side is decked out in classic black and white zebra velour. Adorned with a special edition zebra novelty pin, the Velvet is sure to make a statement either inside or out.
Black and white brick cover this Tardy pack on its mild side. Flip it inside out to reveal the wilder side of its urban jungle aesthetic with a graffiti covered wall. And a pop-colored special edition novelty pin completes the look.
Pump up the volume with the I-ROC pack as you change from its mild black buffalo plaid print to wild rainbow colored plaid. A red plaid-clad pup on its special edition novelty pin revs up the engine on this pack, no matter which way you wear it.
Reversing your pack is easy.
Step 1: Unzip top of the bag from the inside of the main compartment. Then, unhook straps from bag loops.
Step 2: Pull handle and straps through unzipped opening and turn bag inside out.
Step 3: Zip closed from inside zipper and hook straps to loops.

The new limited edition Reversible Smashups Collection will be available at select specialty retailers such as Tilly's, Journey's and Anchor Blue beginning July 2010.
