JANSPORT CELEBRATES THE HOLIDAYS AT BARNEYS NEW YORK
JanSport unveils its most popular pack collections, Urban Framework and Heritage Series,
in festive winter colors, exclusively at Barneys New York
San Leandro, Calif., (October 11, 2010) - JanSport® announced today that it will launch two of its most popular pack collections, Urban Framework and Heritage Series, in exclusive prints and colors available this holiday season, exclusively at Barneys.
Taking cues from its own designs dating back to the late 60s, JanSport worked together with Barneys to create the perfect collection of bags, marrying cool blue tones with festive grey plaids-the perfect pallet to bring your accessories to life this holiday.
"As a brand with rich Americana heritage, we're excited to partner with Barneys to launch this new collection of Urban Framework and Heritage bags," said Carrie Steinberg, senior marketing communications coordinator for JanSport. "These colors are reminiscent of JanSport's rich heritage and are on trend with cutting-edge colors for the holiday."

Large Frame Pack in Heritage Plaid
JanSport gives this retro external frame pack a contemporary twist by adding an aluminum frame true to JanSport's original award-winning design. This bag has one large main compartment, as well as a removable frame to allow for flexibility on how it can be carried.
Westridge in Heritage Plaid
JanSport revamps its original 1972 Vail Ski patrol pack with fresh new details whether you're passing through the park, on a stroll down the cool city streets, or heading cross country.
Swinger in Heritage Plaid
A 1989 original, this satchel was designed to swing around town-throw it over the handlebars of a bicycle or strap it over your shoulder, this small duffel-shaped bag is the perfect lightweight sack for strollin' through the city. Easy-access side stash pockets and seatbelt webbing shoulder straps will ensure this swinger isn't swingin' single.
Ski & Hike in Heritage Plaid, Navy and New Storm Grey
JanSport's classic Ski & Hike from 1969 just got an update with new poly denim fabric with TPE coating that will protect your stuff all day long from the early morning walk to the subway into the late night hours.
