    Comments about JanSport KATAHDIN 50L BACKPACK:

    A light bag (~2lbs) that has extended weekender written all over it. Best fitted for S/M build guys or gals and exceptional for S builds with the adjustable suspension. Made of durable materials, this pack feels like it will last the test of the trails. The top loader's compartments feel right and I made use of all the compression straps to hold hiking poles and camp hatchet. The top pouch did seem a bit shallow and there are no hip pouches but the side h20 pouches made up for it.

    Bottom line - The Katahdin 50 will compete with any entry level/intermediate bag on the market and considering the price and warranty, could edge many out. A great buy.
