LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY POLICY AND GUIDELINES
Trust is built over time, so for more than 50 years JanSport has designed packs that last, to go everywhere you go, see what you see, and carry what you need. We stand by the quality and durability of every pack we make, and since we’ve been doing that since 1967, that is a guarantee you can stand by.
We build our products to last over extended periods of use, but inevitably everything does eventually wear out. So, when your pack wears out as all things do, you’ll know you’ve gotten the most out of your gear and your experience. JanSport branded products covered by this warranty are warranted to the original owner against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product, except for certain exclusions identified below.
This warranty applies to all JanSport branded equipment only (e.g., packs, bags, pouches, totes, cases). The warranty does not apply to pins, patches, or related accessories. Please carefully review the exclusions to confirm whether your product is covered. If your product covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair it without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. Only unaltered and unmodified items and original workmanship are covered. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use. Damage not covered under warranty may be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for return shipping.

Canada Warranty Return Form
All shipping to Warranty must be pre-paid and insured. JanSport will not be liable for lost in-bound packages. Products repaired or replaced under warranty will be shipped back to you free of charge. Please note that warranty turnaround time is currently approximately 3 weeks, but may vary by location.
Our policy requires that products accepted for repair be clean. Charges will be assessed if cleaning is necessary or product may be returned to you if it cannot be adequately cleaned.

OTHER WARRANTY LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS:
This warranty is available in only the United States and Canada and applies only to JanSport equipment, purchased from authorized dealers. Only equipment, including back packs, pouches, and other bags, is covered. JanSport does not offer warranties for pins, patches, or related accessories. As an exception to the lifetime warranty, the warranty for JanSport-branded cooler bags is limited to five (5) years, rather than the lifetime of the product.
JanSport is not responsible for direct, incidental or consequential damages for any reason including damage resulting from a breach of a warranty or condition such as scratches in a device surface, lost data or lost or destroyed personal property. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations on the duration of the warranty may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights, which vary from state to state.
WHO PAYS FOR SHIPPING COST?
Damage not covered under warranty may be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for return shipping label. Customer Service will contact you directly, prior to repairing your item, to discuss your options. Please note products repaired or replaced under warranty will be shipped back to you free of charge.
WHAT IF I SPILLED LIQUIDS INSIDE MY BAG?
Liquids spilled inside packs causing deterioration to fabric and/or materials will not be covered.
